Project Manager

Hunter Philips is seeking a remote Project Manager for solar projects in Italy. The role involves overseeing project development, ensuring compliance, and leading construction execution. Candidates should have over 5 years of project management experience, knowledge of EPC contracts, and preferably experience in the Italian renewable energy market. The position is freelance for 18 months, starting ideally in April.
Project Manager – Solar - Development & Construction – Italy – Leading Renewable Energy Developer – Remote Based

Role Overview:

My client is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the development of multiple solar projects in Italy and to then ensure a smooth transition into construction. Once the first project commences construction, the role involves leading that projects execution, working closely with internal teams, EPC contractors and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee development activities, ensuring permits, approvals and project readiness.
• Conduct market analysis on EPC contractors and suppliers.
• Lead construction execution, ensuring budget, schedule and HSE compliance.
• Coordinate with Owners Engineering teams and EPC contractors.
• Manage risks, reporting and stakeholder engagement.

Requirements:
• 5+ years’ experience in project management.
• Strong knowledge of EPC contracts, permitting and financing.
• Experience in the Italian renewable energy market preferred.
• Strong project leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in English (essential), Italian (preferred)
