Project Manager (Renewable Energy)

avua is hiring a Project Manager (Renewable Energy) in India to oversee Transmission & Distribution (T&D) and solar energy projects. Responsibilities include project planning, execution, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder communication. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a proven track record in managing Transmission & Distribution (T&D) or solar energy projects. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project execution, from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, quality standards, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the planning, execution, and closure of T&D and solar energy projects, including scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including engineering, procurement, construction, and operations teams, to develop project plans, establish milestones, and allocate resources effectively.
Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and forecast financial performance to ensure projects are delivered within budget constraints and achieve targeted financial objectives.
Coordinate with external partners, contractors, vendors, and regulatory agencies to obtain permits, approvals, and clearances necessary for project implementation and compliance.
Conduct regular project meetings, progress reviews, and status updates to monitor project performance, identify issues, and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks and ensure project success.
Manage project schedules, monitor critical path activities, and implement schedule adjustments as needed to address delays, optimize resource utilization, and maintain project timelines.
Ensure adherence to quality standards, specifications, and industry best practices throughout the project lifecycle, conducting inspections, audits, and quality assurance checks as necessary.
Implement effective communication and stakeholder engagement strategies to keep project stakeholders informed, address concerns, and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP) preferred.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on Transmission & Distribution (T&D) and solar energy projects.
Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from initiation to closure, delivering on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards.
Comprehensive knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques, with experience in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams, resolve conflicts, and drive collaboration towards achieving project goals and objectives.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and project team members.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera P6) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience in the energy industry, particularly in T&D and solar projects, with knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, make decisions under pressure, and adapt to changing priorities and project requirements in a dynamic environment.
