Job Description
Patriot Environmental Services is seeking a Project Manager for Environmental Remediation in Phoenix, AZ. Responsibilities include managing project schedules, costs, and safety, while ensuring successful project delivery. Candidates should have a relevant degree, at least 5 years of experience in project management, and preferably a PMP certification. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential. This position is not remote and requires on-site presence.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage project schedule, cost, scope, quality, safety, risk, resources, and stakeholders to achieve successful project and financial performance goals.
• Create a Plan for all features of work and each knowledge area (scope, time, cost, risk, communication, resources, procurement, quality, and stakeholders). Execute so the project exists and functions as a cohesive whole. Updating or modifying the Plan and baselines as changes are encountered and scope changes are approved.
• Demonstrate competency with respect to the project work understanding of issues relevant to the broad organization, client expectations, and business.
• Prepare and execute the Scope Management Plan. Monitor work package progress ensuring that contract scope is completed. Identify changes to scope and implement the change management process.
• Design, develop and maintain project schedules using appropriate techniques.
• Execute the project according to the schedule to prevent or minimize project delays.
• Prepare and execute the Cost Control Plan.
• Understand the relationship between the project cost estimate, project budget, and cost control methods.
• Ensure that the safety lead develops the project Safety Plan and execute the work accordingly.
• Ensure safety on all assigned projects with no reportable incidents or accidents on all assigned projects and follow corporate reporting requirements for incidents.
• Maintain efficient and productive support and resources to assigned projects in accordance with the operations plan.
• Identify, analyze, and respond to project risk elements in accordance with the Risk Management Plan.
• Develop and execute the Procurement Management Plan.
• Manage sub-contractors and approval of sub-contractor invoices.
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND REQUIREMENTS
• RPM I - BA/BS degree in Engineering, Geology, Project Management, Environmental Science, or Construction Management is preferred in addition to a minimum of 5 years of related project management experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities relative to environmental remediation work.
• PMP Certification is preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• OSHA HAZWOPER 40 Hour certification with OSHA 8-Hour Supervisor certification.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
• Strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite.
• Personnel management experience.
• Leadership and motivation skills.
• Knowledge of remediation equipment.
• Knowledge of Federal and State environmental rules and regulations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
• Occasional pushing, pulling, twisting, and turning.
• Occasional lifting items overhead.
• Standing up to 6-8 hours daily.
• Occasional lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds.
• Work in confined spaces or at heights.
• Required to wear a variety of personal protection equipment.
• Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential duties.
Pay: $80,000 - $115,000 annual salary
The compensation for the role will depend on several factors, including the candidate's qualifications, work experience, competencies, and skills, and may fall outside of the range shown.
