Job Description

Arthan is hiring a Project Manager for a climate-health initiative in New Delhi. The role involves project execution, research coordination, stakeholder engagement, and donor reporting. Ideal candidates have a background in public health or related fields, with experience in nonprofit organizations. We are seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to lead strategic project execution, research coordination, stakeholder engagement, and donor reporting for a pioneering climate-health digital initiative in India. This role offers the opportunity to shape policy, research, and action at the intersection of climate change and public health.

About You:

You are a development professional passionate about addressing public health inequities, particularly in the context of climate change. With experience in nonprofit organizations, multilateral institutions, or public health consulting, you excel in strategic thinking, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving. You are comfortable managing cross-functional teams, research-driven projects, and policy engagements while navigating complex challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Management & Coordination
• Oversee project execution, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
• Track progress using project management tools (Jira, Asana, Airtable).
• Coordinate with field teams, consultants, and research experts.
• Support budgeting, logistics, and operational planning.
• Conduct risk assessments and problem-solving sessions.

2. Strategic Research & Stakeholder Engagement
• Conduct policy scans and research on climate and health intersections.
• Engage with government officials, research institutions, and development partners.
• Represent the project in policy discussions and donor meetings.
• Facilitate high-level stakeholder engagements to drive adoption and scale-up.

3. Communication & Reporting
• Develop impact stories, reports, and presentations for donors and stakeholders.
• Translate research findings into policy recommendations.
• Contribute to thought leadership through blog posts and external communications.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
• Education: Bachelor's in Environmental Sciences, Public Health, Life Sciences, Government, or related fields. A Master's degree (MPH, MSc, MPP, MPA) is highly desirable.
• Experience: 3-5 years or 5-8 years of relevant work experience, including at least one year in a managerial role within a nonprofit, multilateral organization, public health institute, or consulting firm.
• Competitive pay based on years of experience.
• Consulting experience in the social impact space is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with data analysis, digital tools, and public health research.
• Experience in climate & health, digital health, or impact-driven consulting is a plus.
