Project Manager – Solar PV Development
About the Project
We are currently seeking a skilled Project Manager who specializes in renewable energy projects, with a particular emphasis on Solar PV development. This contract role is based in Northampton and is set for a duration of 12 months. The successful candidate will lead critical solar energy projects that contribute significantly to sustainable energy advancements.
Job Description
• Project Oversight: Oversee the entire lifecycle of Solar PV development projects, from the initial design phase through to completion, ensuring projects meet deadlines, budget constraints, and quality standards.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, effectively managing communications and ensuring alignment with project objectives.
• Resource Management: Efficiently allocate and manage project resources, including personnel and materials, to ensure optimal project execution.
• Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with project timelines and outcomes.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all project activities comply with relevant environmental, health, and safety standards.
• Performance Monitoring: Keep stakeholders informed with regular and detailed reports on project status, including challenges faced and milestones achieved.
Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a closely related field.
• Experience: Demonstrable experience in managing large-scale solar energy projects, with extensive knowledge of the operational and technical requirements.
• Leadership and Team Management: Strong leadership abilities with a proven track record of motivating and managing effective teams.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills, essential for negotiating and maintaining productive stakeholder relationships.
• Problem-solving Ability: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of delivering strategic solutions to complex issues.
