About the Role:

The Project Manager - Operations will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of operational projects within the organization. This position manages and performs daily spreading operations and performs daily sampling requirements to ensure regulatory compliance. This position also performs daily operational tasks and safety functions. The Project Manager will perform daily preventative maintenance and complete minor repairs associated with on-site processing equipment. By implementing best practices in project management, this role will drive efficiency and effectiveness in operations. Ultimately, the Project Manager will contribute to the overall success of the organization by delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Experienced Heavy Equipment Operator
• Ability to analyze mechanical issues and adept at problem solving
• Proven experience in project management, with a minimum of 3 years in an operations-focused role.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Familiarity with project management software and tools.
• Experienced operating various types of Heavy Equipment
• MSHA Certification

Responsibilities:
• Perform loading, unloading, and timely delivery of material to assigned/approved destination.
• Conduct daily inspections and perform preventative maintenance on the equipment.
• Perform site clean-up, maintenance, and equipment/tools setup.
• Maintain operation records.
• Perform daily operational tasks and safety functions.
• Lead and manage multiple operational projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate with various departments to gather project requirements and facilitate effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
• Continuously evaluate project processes and outcomes to identify areas for improvement and implement the best practices.
