Job Description
IEA Management Services is seeking a Project Manager for Energy Storage in Springfield, MO. The role involves leading project teams through all phases of construction for renewable energy projects, ensuring safety, quality, and client satisfaction. Key qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and five years of relevant experience. The position requires extensive travel across the US to various project sites, with a daily per diem and vehicle allowance provided.
Overview: The Project Manager is dedicated to achieving project goals while adhering to safety, quality, profitability, and client satisfaction standards. You will lead the project team from acquisition through pre-construction, execution, and project close-out. Key skills include leadership, communication, planning, and scope management which are essential for project success.
Location & Travel Details: This role offers extensive travel across the US to support the construction of renewable energy projects. Expect to be onsite at various project locations, with possibilities of being placed in any state across the nation. Typical projects range from 8 to 12 months. A daily per diem will be provided to assist with living expenses, and you will receive routine travel home during your project rotation. A vehicle allowance is also included.

Responsibilities:
• Lead and communicate effectively to ensure project compliance with safety standards.
• Support the company culture, values, and quality management processes.
• Document and communicate project status, performance, and any arising issues to stakeholders.
• Oversee daily project operations including staff, equipment, subcontractors, and materials.
• Integrate resources and deliverables in alignment with the Project Execution Plan.
• Manage the project budget, forecast costs, and maintain the project schedule.
• Handle all contract documents, identify risks, and manage changes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct risk management planning, identification, analysis, and response strategies.
• Coordinate procurement of necessary products and services.
• Engage with all project stakeholders effectively.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in the BESS, solar or EPC construction industry.
Skills:
• Commit to promoting health and safety in the workplace.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Primavera, Timberline, and relevant construction software.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints, technical documents, and contracts.
• Strong report writing and communication skills.
• Ability to perform calculations related to construction metrics.
