Job Description

GEI Consultants is hiring a Project Management Expert for Sustainability in Glastonbury, CT. The role involves leading sustainability initiatives, developing remedial strategies, and collaborating on remediation solutions. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or similar, with 15+ years of experience and a CT LEP License. About the Position
We are seeking a green initiative project coordinator to join our team at GEI Consultants. As a seasoned environmental project manager, you will lead sustainability initiatives and provide expert guidance on environmental projects throughout Connecticut, New York, and Central Massachusetts. You will develop investigation and remedial strategies for various types of sites and contaminants, collaborate in the design and installation of remediation solutions, and interact directly with clients and regulatory agency representatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop investigation and remedial strategies for various types of sites and contaminants
- Collaborate in the design and installation of remediation solutions under CT DEEP regulations and LEP programs
- Lead environmental site assessments and remedial and pre-design investigations
- Provide technical oversight of subcontractors
- Prepare and review work plans and technical reports

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, or similar Science
- 15+ years of relevant professional experience in environmental consulting
- CT LEP License
- Seller/Doer mentality and experience
- Excellent communication skills and technical report writing skills
- Ability to travel on temporary assignments as needed
