About the position

Sovereign Consulting Inc. is seeking a Project Foreman specializing in Water and Wastewater Construction to oversee the day-to-day operations of construction projects in Central-Southern New Jersey. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the water and wastewater construction sector, demonstrating a strong background in managing construction teams and ensuring project completion within established timelines. This role is critical in coordinating tasks, managing teams, and ensuring that all projects are executed safely and efficiently. As a Project Foreman, you will lead and supervise on-site construction teams, which include laborers, equipment operators, and tradespeople. Your responsibilities will encompass coordinating project activities to ensure adherence to project plans, schedules, and budgets. You will provide hands-on guidance and instruction to team members, ensuring that all work is completed to high-quality standards. Monitoring progress and productivity will be essential, as you will need to identify and resolve any challenges that arise during the construction process. Clear communication with Project Managers and stakeholders is vital, as you will be responsible for providing updates on project status. You will also enforce safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all team members. Additionally, you will assist in the planning and scheduling of resources, materials, and equipment, and participate in the selection and training of new team members as needed.

Requirements
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in water and wastewater construction

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Familiarity with construction equipment, tools, and techniques
