Total-Western is seeking a Project Engineer for its Energy Services division in Paramount, CA. The role involves planning, managing, and executing energy projects focused on efficiency and sustainability. Position Overview:

The Project Engineer, Energy Services plays a crucial role within our dynamic energy division. This position is integral to planning, managing, and executing energy-focused projects that emphasize efficiency, sustainability, and cutting-edge technology. Working closely with project managers and technical teams, you will ensure that energy services projects are completed safely, on schedule, and in full compliance with industry standards. Your expertise will drive the development of innovative solutions, supporting Total-Western’s mission of operational excellence in the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:
• Project Coordination & Execution: Develop, implement, and oversee project plans and schedules tailored to energy services initiatives, ensuring alignment with client requirements and safety standards.
• Technical Engineering Support: Provide technical guidance on energy systems, including renewable energy installations and energy efficiency projects, while ensuring adherence to EPCOM guidelines and industry codes.
• Quality Assurance & Compliance: Implement rigorous quality control procedures and participate in regular inspections to guarantee that all projects meet Total-Western’s high standards and regulatory mandates.
• Safety Leadership: Champion a safety-first culture by enforcing safe work practices, participating in safety briefings, and conducting regular on-site audits.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as a key liaison among clients, project managers, and field teams, facilitating clear communication and swift resolution of technical challenges.
• Process Improvement: Identify and recommend process enhancements to improve project delivery, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness in the energy services arena.

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Energy Management, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in energy services or related industrial projects, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.
• Proficiency in engineering and project management software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project).
• Solid understanding of energy systems, renewable energy technologies, and EPCOM practices.
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced environments.

Preferred Experience:
• Experience in renewable energy projects, energy efficiency solutions, or oil and gas energy services.
• Familiarity with Total-Western’s core industries and related industry standards.
• Additional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or specialized energy sector certifications are highly desirable.
• Knowledge of advanced project management tools like Primavera P6 or Procore.

Work Environment:
• Primarily field-based with regular travel to project sites across the Midwestern U.S. (Up to 50% travel required).
• Exposure to diverse working conditions including outdoor environments and various weather conditions.
• Adherence to strict safety protocols and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.

Reporting Structure:

This role reports directly to the Operations Manager of the Energy Services division and involves significant collaboration with project managers, technical teams, and field supervisors to ensure seamless project execution.

Compensation & Benefits:
• Salary Range: $85,000 - $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
