Project Engineer – Utility-Scale Solar (Based in LA)

Our client, a well-established player in the utility-scale solar sector, is looking to add a Project Engineer to their growing team. Based in Los Angeles, this role will support the successful execution of utility-scale solar projects. The ideal candidate will have an engineering degree and a strong interest in solar, with prior experience in the industry . This is an exciting opportunity to work on some of the most innovative renewable energy projects in the country, with a salary of up to $110,000.

Responsibilities:
• Provide engineering support to the construction team during the execution of utility-scale solar projects.
• Collaborate with the project management and construction teams to ensure that designs are implemented effectively and in accordance with specifications.
• Assist with coordinating and managing the procurement and logistics of materials and equipment.
• Review and verify engineering drawings, specifications, and designs to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Monitor project progress and ensure quality standards are met while maintaining timelines and budgets.
• Assist in managing project risks and resolving engineering-related issues during construction.
• Support project documentation and reporting, ensuring that all technical records are properly maintained and submitted.

Required Experience:
• A degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or other relevant fields).
• Experience supporting large-scale construction projects, ideally within the solar industry.
• Strong technical skills and the ability to solve engineering challenges in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of utility-scale solar project design and construction processes is , though specialization in one area (mechanical, electrical, civil) is not required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
• Proficiency in engineering software and tools.
