The position offers a hybrid working model with three days in the office and two days remote.
Q ENERGY is Europe’s 360° green energy company. Together with our more than 500 employees we develop, build, and manage renewable energy assets across the entire value chain of large-scale renewable energy projects – from solar, to onshore wind and offshore wind, to energy storage and hybrid power plants. With a pipeline of more than 16 GW we are among the leading renewable energy companies in Europe. We are always on the lookout for people who want to work with us to empower a sustainable world with green energy.

Are you passionate about renewable energy and looking to make a real impact?

We’re seeking a dynamic Project Developer who’s ready to lead and drive the development of Solar, Onshore Wind and Battery Storage projects. As part of our team, you’ll collaborate with key partners, engage with stakeholders, and help shape the future of sustainable energy.

If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to contribute to innovative solutions in the renewable energy sector, this role is for you!

Please note: We only accept CVs submitted in English.
• You lead alliances with local partners (land agents, environmental and engineering consultants) to drive project development.
• You build and maintain relationships with officers and politicians within relevant administrations.
• You supervise developers’ performance during the permitting process and ensure alignment with timelines.
• You manage project schedules, budgets, cash flow, and guarantee-related tasks during the permitting process.
• You lead efforts to improve project scores for capacity tenders and support CU in preparing NTP and IC documents.
• You have at least 15 years of experience in project development, ideally within the renewable energy sector.
• You excel at building and managing relationships with local partners, government officials, and key stakeholders.
• You possess a strong understanding of the permitting process, including managing schedules, budgets, and cash flows.
• You are fluent in Spanish and possess a minimum of B2-level proficiency in English both spoken and written.
• You have experience leading project improvements and navigating capacity tenders or competitive processes.

We value our employees and offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
• Our Workplace: In Madrid our office is in Torre Europe near Santiago Bernabeu Station, which you can easily reach by metro line 10. In Sevilla, we provide a very welcoming office space for you to utilize.
• IT Equipment: We’ll set you up with a laptop, monitor, headphones, and, if needed, a company phone.
• Work-Life Balance: We value your personal time. Enjoy the flexibility to choose your work hours, so you can prioritize what matters most—whether it’s attending a workout class, handling personal matters, or starting your weekend a little earlier. You’re in control.
• Home Office: At Q Energy we offer a hybrid working model – three days in the office and two days from the comfort of your own home. This way you get some in person bonding with your colleagues but also can save time commuting to the office.
• Generous Vacation Policy: Enjoy a well-deserved break and take 30 vacation days a year to relax, recharge, and explore!
