Job Description

Green Infrastructure Partners is seeking a Project Coordinator in Russell, MB, Canada. The role involves overseeing construction projects, ensuring adherence to design, budget, and safety regulations. Key responsibilities include managing subcontractors, monitoring project performance, and leading teams. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years' experience in civil construction, particularly in road building and related projects. The position is full-time and requires effective time management skills.
Project Manager

The Project Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the successful execution of construction projects from initiation to completion.

Main Responsibilities:
• Ensures project is constructed according to design, budget, and schedule.
• Ensure project adheres federal, provincial, and local safety/environmental legislation and acts.
• Monitors project performance, schedule, costs, equipment, labour, materials, equipment maintenance, safety, and quality control.
• Manage construction project subcontractors including contract agreements, performance, schedule, costs, safety, and quality control.
• Interfaces with project team and related third parties.
• Monitors and inspects project site to maintain a safe work environment and provides leadership to ensure policies, procedures, and standards are followed.
• Prepare estimates related to project scope changes.
• Supervises, provides guidance, and assesses performance of direct reports and other team members.
• Oversees project closeout.

Requirements:
• A minimum of 5 years' progressive experience in civil construction projects (Earthworks, Road/Paving, Structures (bridges), underground utilities).
• Experience in managing all aspects of road building, asphalt, structure, and construction projects.
• Experience with ICI projects is an asset.
• Familiar with project management and estimating software programs.
• Ability to be flexible and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective time management and prioritization skills.
