Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive project management of sites enrolled in the MPCA Brownfields Program.

• Issue legal assurances and provide technical assistance under State statute.

• Approve response actions to mitigate risk to human health during the development of contaminated properties.

• Develop and implement work plans for environmental projects.
,
• Engage and communicate with diverse stakeholders and team members.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in an environmental science area and two years of professional experience in environmental protection or pollution control and project management.

• OR three years of professional-level experience in environmental protection or pollution control and project management.
,
• Ability to develop and implement work plans.
,
• Understanding of the environmental regulatory process and procedures.
,
• Ability to independently complete assignments in a timely manner.
Nice-to-haves
• Experience in Brownfield assessment and environmental investigations and cleanup.

• Knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental laws and regulations.
,
• Demonstrated ability to conclude projects based on data.
,
• Experience with public communications on health or environmental projects.

• Customer service skills and abilities.
