This position involves ensuring compliance with environmental, floodplain, historic preservation laws, regulations, and executive orders. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the practical application of science and technology.
• Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct site inspections and assessments to identify potential environmental impacts
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and executive orders
• Assess potential impacts to species and habitat on projects
• Prepare No Effect memos, biological assessments, and surveys as required
• Perform analyses to evaluate alternatives and document findings in written reports

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in environmental science, planning, engineering, or related discipline
• Experience: 2 years of in-field experience
• Skills: Ability to balance and prioritize work, strong attention to detail, effective written and oral communication skills
