Job Description

Water.org is seeking a Project Administrator in California City, CA. The role involves planning, coordinating, and executing projects, including scheduling, documentation, and communication with teams. Responsibilities include project administration, documentation, team coordination, and problem-solving. Candidates should have a high school diploma, two years of project administration experience, and proficiency in MS Office. The position requires minimal travel (up to 5%).
Job Overview

The Project Administrator is primarily responsible for assisting with planning, coordination and execution of assigned project(s), including scheduling, analysis, documentation, and communication with the project team(s) in collaboration with the Project Manager(s) and other key stakeholders. The incumbent in this position will be a key resource to support the effectiveness of project(s) and other assignments.

Job-Specific Accountabilities

Project Administration
Works closely with the project manager(s) and uses the established project management system to monitor and/or update progress, timelines, and priorities for assigned project activities. Assists with procurement of goods and services related to the project, including contracts and change orders. Ensures key stakeholders are alerted and informed of upcoming tasks. Documents and maintains roster of action items and progress reports.

Documentation + Reporting
Prepares, organizes, and maintains comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, budgets, timelines and reports. Drafts and edits communications, such as presentations, documents, and visuals.

Team Coordination
Proactively identifies needs and utilizes established processes to meet deadlines, coordinate team member participation, and drive results.  Organizes and coordinates meetings, schedules, and resources. Acts as a communications point of contact for the team.

Complexity + Problem Solving Skills
• Ability to manage multiple project deliverables and assignments in a fast-paced environment, driving each to timely completion using established processes and related guidance.
• Ability to clearly communicate data and concepts (verbal and written) to various audiences. 
• Ability to anticipate future steps and actions for a broad range of project- related needs.

Requirements

Required Qualifications & Experience
• High School Diploma. Additional certifications are considered.
• Two or more years of experience with project administration or coordination, preferably with enterprise-level and/or technology projects.
• Strong understanding of project management principles.
• Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office software and related applications, including advanced proficiency with Excel.
• Proficient (written and verbal) in English.

Travel Requirement
• Up to 5% of domestic travel.

Salary/Benefits

This position offers a base hourly rate of $37.00 . Base salary may be flexible based on skills, certifications, location and/or qualifications.

Being authorized to work in the country posted is a precondition of employment.
