About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Programme Associate to join our team and support projects in climate finance and adaptation. The selected candidate will be part of our Climate Resilience programme, which aims to build community resilience by examining, identifying, assessing, and predicting risks related to extreme climate events.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in climate finance, adaptation finance, or related domains, and expertise in mixed-method research approaches, including qualitative and quantitative methods. They will be responsible for conducting desk-based secondary research, literature reviews, and synthesizing research findings to produce high-quality outputs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conducting systematic evidence reviews and meta-analyses on adaptation finance
• Assisting in stakeholder consultations, high-level dialogues, and expert interviews to gather actionable insights
• Applying qualitative tools to analyze narratives and frameworks and presenting them in coherent formats
• Carrying out quantitative research focused on socio-economic and financial datasets, including climate expenditure assessments, investment gap analysis, and scenario modeling

Requirements:
• Master's/PhD in finance, green economics, environmental economics, investment banking, public policy, sustainable development, or related fields
• 4–5 years of experience in areas such as climate finance, development finance, investment analysis, or public policy research
• Strong analytical skills and knowledge of mixed-method research approaches (qualitative and quantitative) for policy evaluation, sectoral financial analysis, and climate risk assessments
• Demonstrated interest in policies and financing mechanisms for climate change adaptation, resilient infrastructure, disaster management, and allied sectors
