The Program Coordinator II position at the New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) is part of the newly established Climate Action Team within the Research and Climate Bureau. The coordinator will work to integrate best practices into departmental procedures and operations while ensuring compliance with federal regulations and program requirements.

Responsibilities
• Thorough review and understanding of federal regulations related to climate change programs.

• Communication of federal regulations to internal and external partners.

• Public presentation of programs and their requirements to stakeholders.

• Support of program committees and coordination of program applications.

• Monitoring projects to ensure compliance with federal regulations and program requirements.

• Tracking projects from development to closeout while ensuring performance measures are achieved.

Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
