Job Description

Luttrell Staffing Group is hiring a full-time Programs & Events Coordinator in Bowling Green, KY, with a pay rate of $17 per hour. The role involves planning, coordinating, and executing events, managing vendor relationships, and conducting post-event evaluations. Candidates should have experience in event management, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. A valid driver's license is required. The position is temp-to-hire with a Monday to Friday schedule.

Details for Programs & Events Coordinator Position:
• $17 / Hour
• Monday – Friday | 8am – 4:30pm
• Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
• Weekly Pay

Job Duties for Programs & Events Coordinator Position:
• Assist with planning, coordinating, and executing events in line with client and organizational goals
• Collaborate across departments to ensure smooth event delivery
• Manage vendor relationships and service contracts including catering, audiovisual, and décor
• Conduct post-event evaluations to measure outcomes and identify improvements
• Follow all policies and procedures in place
• Completes any other related tasks as needed

Qualifications and Desired Skills for Programs & Events Coordinator Position:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be bondable
• Reference from the Bowling Green Chamber
• Proven experience in hospitality or event management with success in planning and executing large-scale events
• Strong organizational, administrative, and time management skills with ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects under pressure
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service and relationship building
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), comfort with software, internet, email, social media, and standard office equipment
• Demonstrated ability to create, manage, and analyze budgets with strong math, analytical skills, and sound judgment
• Creative, adaptable, and resourceful professional with integrity, initiative, and the ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
• Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist and reach
