We are seeking Professional Civil Engineer, Renewables to add to our growing team.You will lead civil design efforts that support the successful delivery of utility-scale and distributed solar projects across the country. We are looking for a civil engineer with strong renewable energy experience, the ability to manage complex site design work, and a commitment to producing high-quality, efficient solutions. What you will do:
• Serve as Engineer of Record and assist with project design team management.
• Collaborate closely with design managers and project managers to create complex site layouts and designs in Civil 3D for utility scale and distributed renewable energy projects.
• Manage a portfolio of projects, ensuring alignment with objectives and timely completion.
• Review project plans and documentation for accuracy, consistency, and quality assurance.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including environmental experts, water resource engineers, survey, and construction support, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Perform civil site design computations, including mass grading, earthwork, and road design.
• Lead the creation of civil sheet sets, including grading, stormwater, and access road design.
• Resolve design challenges efficiently using creative problem-solving.
• Travel: Less than 10% required.

What You Will Bring;
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• PE license in at least one state, with ability to obtain others.
• 4+ years of experience in land development or renewable energy design.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D.
• Expertise in mass grading, earthwork, road design, erosion/sediment control, and drainage.
• Experience managing detailed design for large-scale or complex projects.
• Strong attention to detail, self-starter, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
