WHAT YOULL CONTRIBUTE TO KORE The Production Technician is part of the design and fulfillment team that builds and delivers KOREs custom-engineered battery energy storage solutions. Work is based at our Waterbury, Vermont facility.
ESSENTIAL FUNNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Follows standard operating procedures (SOPs) for assembly and manufacturing processes under the supervision of Production Lead. Trained on all stations and can read all prints and schematics. Ability to identify and troubleshoot issues in production. Adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment. Involved in all aspects of battery energy storage system production, including electrical, mechanical, and controller fabrication. Follow safety procedures and report any safety concerns to the Safety and Compliance Officer or Production Manager. Participate in developing best practices to improve production capacity, quality, and reliability. Supports and contributes to cross-functional teams. Self-motivated demonstrating ownership and accountability for assigned tasks and projects. Other duties as assigned or required.
QUALIFICATIONS Electromechanical assembly experience working in a production environment. Technical problem-solving skills and reasoning ability. Experience operating hand and power tools. Ability to communicate effectively and clearly. Must be self-motivated and a great team worker.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Standing for extended periods is common. Hearing and vision within normal ranges, with or without corrective lenses or an assisted hearing device. Some heavy lifting is expected; occasional exertion of up to 50 lbs. of force may be required. Good manual dexterity is required for assembly and production work.
WORK ENVIRONMENT The job is performed indoors in a traditional production setting.
