Konica Minolta seeks a Production Print Field Service Technician in Burnaby, BC. Job Title: Production Print Field Service Technician
We're seeking a skilled and customer-centric individual to maintain and repair production print products, resolve customer printing issues, and foster effective relationships with customers and the Sales Department.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and repair multifunctional printers (MFPs) and resolve customer printing issues.
• Perform on-site service of MFPs.
• Maintain effective relationships with customers and sales teams.
• Manage parts and call management, ensuring accurate records to meet key performance indicator (KPI) targets.
• Stay up-to-date with new technologies and innovations in the field.
• Lead referrals and product promotions to existing customers (5%).
• Provide break-fix and customer support services (95%).
• Understand territory inventory control and manage parts budgets effectively.
• Familiarize yourself with company policies and procedures.
• Perform other relevant duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
• 0-2 years of technical experience in electronics or software equipment repair.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and common network concepts.
• Awareness of basic solutions and troubleshooting techniques.
• Low to mid-end office systems certifications.
• Basic color theory understanding.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, with occasional assistance from colleagues.
• Positive attitude, self-motivation, and commitment to building strong customer relationships.
• Valid travel documents for regular travel within Canada and the US (at own expense).
• Possession of a valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and a reliable vehicle for business use.
• Flexibility for standby and after-hours work, including weekend travel and training sessions.
• Associate Level Certification required.
• High School diploma or equivalent education.
• CompTIA A+, Net+, CDIA+, MCP, or MCITP certification (or equivalent experience).
