We are currently seeking an experienced Production Planner to join our growing team on-site, based at our Bayswater, VIC/Melbourne site.

About the Role

As a Production Planner at RFI Technology Solutions, you will play a critical role in ensuring our production team meets demand efficiently. You will demonstrate an energy and passion for work order management, proactively supporting production operations, and enabling exceptional internal customer service to the broader business and through to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
• Production Scheduling: Manage work orders in our ERP system from creation to closure, oversee allocations and shipments, and review rough cut capacity plans, etc.
• Customer Service (Internal): Act as the main liaison between manufacturing and customer service, resolving production issues and quoting lead times.
• Inventory Control & Demand and Supply Planning: Ensure inventory accuracy, facilitate supply planning, and manage material demand orders across multiple sites.
• Manufacturing Support: Coordinate Outplant and freight, liaise with purchasing teams, and work with vendors to resolve technical queries to keep production on-track
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements as part of a team to enhance efficiency and productivity.

About You

Essential Skills & Experience:
• Previous experience in production, ideally in a planning team within a fast-paced, high-transaction environment.
• Experience or background in customer service or customer-facing roles.
• Proven track record of identifying & implementing process improvements.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Great computer literacy, including strong experience with ERP systems.

Desirable Skills & Experience:
• Familiarity with MRP systems and supply/demand planning in a multi-site high mix environment.
• Sound understanding of supply chain principles and systems.
• Experience in a similar industry, knowledge of Lean.
• A passion for local manufacturing, electronics or Industry 4.0
