Job Summary*

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Process Operator to join our team at VERBIO North America LLC. The successful candidate will work in a continuous process manufacturing environment, adhering to all safety and environmental parameters.

About the Role

The Process Operator will be responsible for performing routine field readings, diagnosing faults affecting facility conditions, and operating equipment such as hoists and pumps. They will also be involved in cleaning duties, monitoring wastewater systems, and participating in safety programs.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform small repairs on equipment and communicate with the Shift Leader to coordinate complicated repairs.
• Take routine field readings and diagnose faults affecting facility conditions.
• Operate the hoist within the facility.
• Carry out cleaning duties of the facility.
• Understand the process flow and equipment.
• Safely handle chemicals and wear appropriate PPE.
• Monitor and manage wastewater systems, sanitary, and storm water systems.
• Operate pumps, valve orientation, connect/disconnect hoses to transfer products, chemicals, or wastewater.
• Actively participate in safety programs and initiatives.

Qualifications
• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Previous experience with telehandlers, tow motors, or other lifts is an asset.
• The ability to work from written and oral instructions.
• Superior work ethic and dependability.
• Able to work rotating 12-hour shift schedules.
• Physical requirements include walking up and down stairs/ladders, working at heights, and carrying up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to wear standard PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, rain gear, steel toe boots) and qualify to wear a full-face respirator.
• A working knowledge of computer software programs such as Microsoft Office and the Internet.
• Experience in operating Human Machine Interface (HMI) is an asset.
• Demonstrated mechanical knowledge and ability.
• The ability to work as part of a team and independently.
