BioUrja Renewables LLC is seeking a full-time Production Operator in Peoria, IL. The role involves manual labor tasks such as loading and unloading materials, operating machinery, and monitoring processes. Monitor tasks through to completion; look for ways to improve processes and personal performance./ppbr//ppstrongESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSnbsp;/strong/pulliManual labor/liliLoading, unloading railcars and trucks/liliRework feed/liliPerform environmental verifications and record as needed/liliAssist with performing lock outs on assigned equipment/liliPerform daily assigned clean up responsibilities and record as needed/liliBasic oil and greasing of equipment/liliMonitor inventory/liliMoving material – with bobcat, fork trucks etc./liliCompletes all required documentation to ensure compliance with all applicable codes and regulations/liliSupport and comply with all food safety, quality, and legality requirements/liliTrain new employeesnbsp;/liliInforms supervisor and affected personnel immediately of any hazards, unsafe equipment and/or acts/liliFollow standard operating procedures, temporary work instructions, and process plans/liliCross train as Degerm-Mill Utility/liliOther duties as assigned/li/ulpstrongMINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS/strong/pulliMust have regular, prompt attendance/liliMust have the ability to climb stairs, perform some lifting, sit, and stand for long periods, work in confined spaces, working with heights, bending, kneeling, and respirator qualified/liliMust be able to work in a variety of environmental conditions, such as hot and cold temperatures and dusty environment/liliMust possess the ability and willingness to assume greater responsibility within the organization/liliMust be willing to work on a swing shift/liliMust be able to rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job/li/ulpstrongPHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS/strong/ppThe employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable workplace accommodation./ppbr//ppThe individual must also be able to wear and properly utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to work or visit within areas where it is required.
