Production/Laborer - Day Shift

Tufco, LP is hiring a Production/Laborer for the day shift in Green Bay, WI. The role involves working on the production line, performing tasks such as monitoring product quality, packaging, and preparing items for shipping. The schedule follows a 2-2-3 pattern, with hours from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm. Basic math and communication skills are required, along with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Day Shift: 2-2-3 schedule (work 2 days, off 2 days, work 3 days, off 2 days & off 3 days) every two weeks you will be schedule to work 36 hours one week and 48 hours the other.

Hours: 6:30am - 6:30pm

Job Summary

Works among the machines and equipment of the production line and performs the various tasks needed in the manufacturing of the products to help ensure that production schedules are met. Works as a productive member of a manufacturing team.

Essential Functions
• Place products/packaging on/off of conveyor line
• Monitor quality of the products, notifying appropriate personnel of any defects
• Looks for ways to create continuous improvement
• Counts products being packaged and placing correct number into boxes
• Prepares product for shipping as needed
• Maintains production standards
• Assists and follows directions given from Line Leads with setup and cleanup of production processes
• Supports machine operator with machine maintenance if requested/required
• Interacts with and supports other members of the manufacturing team.

Minimum Qualifications
• Basic math, reading and comprehension skills
• Attention to detail
• Organizational skills
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications
• High School diploma or GED

• Understand and complies with all lockout/tagout procedures
• Works in a safe and ethical manner at all times
• Utilizes time effectively during down time periods
• Must possess a positive attitude, willingness to learn and have good attendance
