Job Description
International Paper is hiring a Production Associate for 2nd or 3rd shifts at their Orlando, FL plant, offering $23.72 per hour. Job Description
• Internal Position Title:**
Production Associate
• Pay Rate :
$23.72 per hour + shift differential if applicable
• NOTE* : During 90 day probationary period, role is considered a Learner and earns $20.87 per hour + shift differential if applicable. Will be hired under indirect Temp Contract pending successful completion of 90 day probationary period or Qualification on machine.
• Category/Shift* :
The plant operates 24/5 with 8-12 hour shifts. Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as needed; overtime may be needed during busy periods.

• *The Job You Will Perform:
+ Safely run machines and follow all safety rules and practices at all times;
+ Count and stack finished product;
+ Learn customer requirements and specifications by reading factory work orders, print cards, and design specifications;
+ Utilize basic shop math;
+ Accurately read tape measures, gauges and other test equipment;
+ Coordinate activities with other machine crew members to efficiently set up and run orders;
+ Maintain quality and production standards as required by the company;
+ Continually monitor the quality and quantity of production;
+ Maintain housekeeping continually during the assigned shift;
+ Perform quality inspections and tests, and record findings; and
+ Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.

+ 3-6 months hands on Industrial Plant manufacturing experience
+ Corrugated industry experience preferred
+ The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
+ The ability to accurately read a tape measurer and ruler
+ The ability to use basic shop math
+ The ability to learn; and the ability to follow instructions, ask questions, and work effectively as a member of a team.
