Product Owner - Marketing Data Platform - Telecommute

Holganix is seeking a Product Owner for their Digital Agronomy Platform, which supports sustainable agriculture through data-driven tools. This role involves managing platform communication, improving efficiency, and providing technical support to users. The Product Owner will collaborate with internal teams and external developers, track platform issues, and help farmers utilize their data effectively. The position is hybrid/remote, based in the Kansas City Metro area.

Our co-developed, white-labeled agronomy platform is the central hub for thousands of growers and millions of acres of data, including field boundaries, as-applied information, remote sensing, and soil testing results.
We are seeking a Product Manager to be the single point of contact for this platform. You’ll play a critical role in managing internal and external stakeholder communication, improving platform efficiency, and helping farmers get the most from their data. Thanks to our farmers, we are growing fast, and you will be tasked to help with a host of different tasks that will give you options to grow within the company and learn things you might not have learned at a larger company.

Platform Ownership & Management
· Serve as the primary point of contact for platform management across the organization.
· Act as a conduit between internal teams (Sales, Data Ops, Agronomy) and external platform developers.
· Maintain and assign grower accounts, ensuring sales owner data is accurate and up to date.
· Track, prioritize, and communicate bugs, feature requests, and platform improvements to development teams.
· Maintain open lines of communication with sales staff to serve as a go-to resource.
· Collaborate closely with Holganix Data Ops to ensure data pipelines and platform functionality align with business needs.

Provide training and technical support to internal users and growers.
· Create documentation or guides to assist stakeholders in using the platform effectively.
· Support the long-term vision and roadmap of platform development through organized feedback loops.

· Help shape how Holganix communicates ROI and agronomic value through digital tools and field data.

Experience in platform management, product support, or technical account management roles.
· Strong organizational skills and proven attention to detail in managing digital platforms or data-centric systems.
· Ability to work collaboratively with both internal teams (Sales, Agronomy, Data Operations) and external development partners.
· Experience with GIS tools or working knowledge of spatial data formats (preferred but not required).
· Familiarity with agronomic datasets such as field boundaries, soil tests, and remote sensing (preferred but not required).
· Comfortable with light technical troubleshooting and translating user needs into actionable development tasks.
· Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, growing environment.
· Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, GIS, Environmental Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
