About the Role

Based in BYD's Sydney office in Macquarie Park, this role will support our BYD Automotive Engineering Research Institute Team. On offer is a Product Engineer position and your day-to-day duties will include but not be limited to:
• Conduct competitor analysis including product features, market strategies, and technological trends.
• Lead market research activities targeting on the product performance under various vehicle driving scenarios.
• Advise on the development & optimization of product configurations based on the information and data collected in the market research.
• Develop and continuously improve the research & analysis processes.

Key requirements:
• Deep understanding of the Australian automotive market, with strong consumer insights.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar position within automotive industry.
• Bachelor's degree, with a preference for majors in market strategy or engineering.
• Possesses proficient computer skills, and strong capability in delivering presentations to senior stakeholders.
• Good communication skills in both English and Mandarin
• Being able to work onsite 5 days a week and travel domestically and internationally for business if needed.
