We’re looking for a Product Data Analyst to join an ambitious Climate Tech startup in a role with a huge variety of fun challenges in Bristol. They’ve built a platform which helps to drive the transition away from fossil fuel heating in people’s homes and are now looking to add to their team. They’re helping to seriously reduce carbon emissions whilst also helping to reduce homeowner energy bills. Now is a great time to join them as they’re scaling and have already had great success.
• 2 days a week in the Bristol office.

What skills you’ll be needing

This a great all-rounder role needing a variety of problem solving, data/analytical and people skills. A good coverage across the following is important.
• Science, Physics or Maths based academic background.
• Data analysis, reporting and modelling skills – you’ll be numbers focused, an ace at Excel and most likely have worked with SQL and Python.
• Able to dig into detailed equations to figure out how to make hard calculations easy.
• Perhaps a start-up or engineering background.
• Relentlessly proactive – you naturally take responsibility for things and are always pushing to make things better;
• A clear, concise communicator and people person — you take pride in the quality of your written communication and have a keen eye for detail.
What you’ll be doing

You’ll be working closely with the Co-Founder across the entire business, and making a serious and measurable dent on the UK’s carbon emissions. Every day will be different but here’s some of the likely duties…
• Data, analysis & reporting – digging into how customers are using the platform, presenting insights to the rest of the team, managing all of the technical product data they’re continually adding, and helping develop the modelling that underpins the platform.
• Able to dig into detailed equations to figure out how to make hard calculations easy.
• Product - doing the research to help them decide what they should build next, figuring out how they should build it, and then working closely with the dev team to get it done.
• Customer success – onboarding and assisting new clients.
• Writing content – writing product updates, onboarding guides, helping with grant applications.
What you’ll get in return for your talents

They’re looking at a range of experience (£40K-50K) and will offer equity/options to help you feel really embedded into the success of the company. There’s 25 days holiday (plus bank hols) and the opportunity to work from abroad for 30 days each year. In addition there’s an excellent opportunity to progress your career as they grow, learning from people who have built Net-Zero products previously. If you’re looking for a role where you can make a real impact and see your work helping the environment then this is one for you!
