Summary
The Procurement and CMMS Manager will be a liaison with all departments to ensure all work activities are appropriately entered into the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), properly approved, work orders created and once completed, communicated with accounts payable. This position will also provide leadership and guidance on effective operation of the CMMS. Conduct the daily functions of the CMMS to ensure all work is scheduled and completed as assigned. Coordinate maintenance assignments and ensure an accurate inventory for parts and supplies. Manage and coordinate all procurement functions for the Company to ensure compliance with Company policies. Perform the daily tasks independently and as directed. Requires basic knowledge of plant scheduled maintenance and requirements.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties
• Generate and reconcile Purchase Orders for all Company purchases in accordance with Company policy.
• Receive purchase orders into CMMS system, verify that the quantity, account coding and pricing are correct.
• Supervisor responsibility for procurement personnel
• Work with vendors to resolve billing discrepancies.
• Set up capital and maintenance projects in the CMMS program. Generate project work orders and track expenditures. Provide Management with reports as requested.
• Review and convert Work Request to Work Orders for Maintenance Manager prioritization and distribution.
• Work with department personnel to ensure Work Orders are filled out appropriately.
• Review Work Order back log reports and generate other CMMS reports as requested by management.
• Review Work Order comments prior to closing out the Work Order.
• Coordinate with Accounts Payable to ensure that invoices are paid accurately and timely.
• Help develop and maintain a list of critical spare items to keep in inventory.
• Work with appropriate departments on the use of the CMMS system to ensure proper usage.
• Collaborate with appropriate departments to maintain an accurate inventory, parts used and parts life expectancy information.
• Continue development of CMMS support systems.
• Provide reports and summaries for Purchase Orders, inventory and work orders as needed.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and/or combined purchasing power for the Company.
• Maintain positive relationships with vendors and staff.
• Track special project expenditures.
• Other duties may be assigned to accomplish the safe and timely day-to-day operations within the plant.
• Wear personal protective equipment as required in the particular area of the plant.
Requirements:
Qualifications
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional computer skills and ability to continue development of the CMMS software.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work well with others and independently.
• Possess good vendor interface skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks.
Education and Experience
• High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Post high school course work or degree in accounting, inventory, or related field preferred; experience is acceptable in lieu of education.
• Prior supervisory/management experience is preferred.
• Previous ethanol related experience is preferred.
• Computer literacy required.
• High energy and a positive attitude are required.
• Ability to learn technical procedures using Company-provided computer equipment.

• The employee is regularly exposed to outside weather in all conditions.
• The employee will regularly be exposed to chemicals used in the process.
