Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing and securing the supply of spent lithium-ion batteries and manufacturing scraps for recycling production.

Key Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and agreements to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
• SOURCE AND SECURE FEEDSTOCK SUPPLIES FOR RECYCLING PRODUCTION
• Develop new channels and opportunities for sustainable materials sourcing, including identifying and establishing new partnerships with suppliers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business discussions with technical and operational goals.
• Stay informed on market trends, including developments in North American electric vehicle and battery manufacturing, to inform strategic decision-making.

About You:
• 5+ years of experience in business development, with at least 1 year focused on the lithium-ion battery value chain.
• Proven success in leading and capturing new business opportunities with a strong understanding of industry and market dynamics.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate contracts and agreements effectively with partners and customers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver compelling presentations.
• Strong grasp of commercial terms, contract structures, and intellectual property concepts.
