Job Description
Osmose Utilities Services is hiring a Procurement Leader for their Peachtree City, GA office. The role involves managing the supply chain, identifying savings, overseeing sourcing processes, and collaborating with various teams. Candidates should have a BA in relevant fields and 3+ years of experience in supply chain management. The position requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Osmose Utilities Services is seeking a Procurement Leader responsible for supporting the planning, implementing and monitoring of Osmose's overall Supply Chain to maximize efficiency, profitability, and productivity.
This in office position can be located in (temporarily in Newnan, GA) Peachtree City, GA or Atlanta, GA
Responsibilities
Identify areas of savings / improvements.
Perform all phases of the sourcing and RFQ/RFP process.
Develop and manage material cost reduction program.
Collaborate with Finance, Sales, and Operations team to determine requirements, and vendor and distributor selection.
Manage communications and negotiations with suppliers.
Perform comprehensive Supply Chain analytics to enable strategic and operational decisions.
Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service teams to plan and implement the overall Supply Chain strategy.
Manage key Supply Chain KPIs.
Prepare reports regarding market conditions and material costs.
Assist with the creation of Purchasing, Supply Chain, and contract management strategies that increase efficiency and speed.
Assist and support distribution and warehouse functions.
Issue and manage purchase orders (POs).
Challenges the status quo and looks for innovative ways to continually improve processes.
Deploy and maintain NetSuite demand planning and SCM Control tower modules to plan and control production, inventory, and distribution utilizing cost-effective methods. Automate demand and supply planning leveraging historical data or sales forecasts.
Requirements:
BA in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, or other Engineering degree with 3+ years as a Buyer / Supply Chain Manager or equivalent.
Experience in a distribution environment.
Ideal candidates will have excellent oral and written communication skills, take initiative, have good problem-solving skills, be detail oriented, be able to multi-task, and be comfortable working in a team environment.
In-depth knowledge of Supply Chain operations and best practices.
Proven knowledge of inventory management.
Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
Working knowledge of data analysis, forecasting tools and ability to develop actionable insights from data.
Interpersonal skills and ability to build and improve trusting relationships.
Familiarity with safety regulations, including those outlined by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Power Point are required.
