Procurement Director, Utility-Scale Projects

We are looking for a highly skilled procurement professional to fill the role of Senior Manager, Strategic Procurement. This position involves leading strategic supplier relationships and procurement strategies to drive business growth and efficiency.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in procurement and supply chain management, with a proven track record in delivering complex procurement projects and driving cost savings and efficiencies.

This includes identifying opportunities for innovation, sustainability, and cost reduction within the procurement process. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with solar and BESS major equipment suppliers.

The position requires a data-driven approach with 7+ years of Procurement experience, and 3+ years of experience in renewable energy utility-scale projects.

Key responsibilities include:
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with solar and BESS major equipment suppliers
• Negotiating Framework Agreements and leading RFP's for Strategic Major Equipment Purchases
• Evaluating supplier performance and mitigating supply chain risks
• Staying current with market trends and requirements

A university degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or Project Management is required. Professional designations such as PMP, P. Eng, or SCMP are considered an asset.
