Job Description/Responsibilities

The Procurement & SKU Room Associate is responsible for maintaining the Reference Product Sample Display (SKU Room), photographing new finished goods, and managing the Image Library. The position also provides support to the Procurement team with Purchase Order creation and updates, system updates, supplier communications and other support as needed. This position ensures that the SKU Room acts as a full library and accurate baseline for the Procurement and the Sales/Marketing teams.
• SKU Room Associate will be responsible for tracking and ordering new product samples weekly, reviewing new reference product samples for match to specifications and any defects in order to give feedback to the production team. They will also be responsible for displaying new reference product samples in the SKU Room and discarding obsolete bottles, as well as photographing new bottles, editing those bottle images and uploading them to the Image Library. Other responsibilities include unpacking bottles, managing space in the SKU room and maintaining an up-to-date maintenance list.
• Support the Procurement team by creating and updating purchase orders and communicating with suppliers. Supplier communications can include supporting new business development projects, updating price lists and collecting necessary specifications and data. This will include operating within Sazerac systems and supplier systems to coordinate data between the companies and supporting reporting needs as needed.
• Implement a PDS plan that will move toward improving at least one competency per year and improve performance against position description outcomes. Document progress and roadblocks with comments in the PDS system.
• Develop a Career plan that will allow achievement of overall career objectives. Clearly communicates with manager to facilitate succession planning and future opportunities
• Support Purchasing Managers and SKU Room Sample and Standards Specialist with regular inspection of SKU room references and component part numbers to ensure consistency with specifications.
• Support SKU Sample and Standard Specialist with specification and display sample integrity driving accurate KPIs. The SKU Room Associate ensures that finished goods in the SKU room are the most current and verifies that Intellapac product specifications and component drawings are available and accurate.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to collect data including component specifications, production details and forecasted volumes. This can include supplier details including manufacturing locations, capacities, certifications and audit details.
Qualifications/RequirementsMUST

• Demonstrate the ability to work as a team as well as self-directed
• Strong computer skills and high comfort using technology and systems
• Strong analytical and technical skills
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Working knowledge of MS Office Products (Word, Excel and Outlook)
• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Demonstrate the ability to work as a team as well as self-directed
• Skilled in photography and video editing
PREFERRED
• Experience in Alcohol Beverage Industry or CPG overall
• Bachelor Degree in Business or commensurate experience
• Experience with System 21 ERP software
• 2 years relevant experience (minimum)
