Job Description

Iowa Renewable Energy is looking for individuals to join our team as Process Production Operators. Our facility is a 24/7 operation. Process Operators work 12 hour shifts and are required to work every other weekend.

Ideal candidates will have:
• Good computer skills in order to operate plant equipment
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Strong mechanical and electrical experience is a plus
• Prior factory work experience

Responsibilities include:
• Performing quality control functions and testing
• Adherence to strict safety standards
• Maintaining good housekeeping standards
• High school education or equivalent required
• Experience working with and around chemicals

Compensation $16.61 per hour; quarterly increases during the first year, pay rate at the end of the first year $18.45. Bi-weekly pay cycles, one week in arrears; Direct Deposit is mandatory.

Work schedule:
• 12 hour daily schedule, includes working every other weekend
• Work 7 out of 14 days
• 99.9% probability that EE will have to work nights (7PM to 7AM); $1.00 per hour premium

Drug screen and pre-employment physical are required.
