Job Description

Carbon Clean is seeking a Process Designer in Mumbai, India, to produce FEED/EPC level engineering deliverables, develop CAD models, and maintain technical documentation. Candidates should have a diploma in chemical/mechanical engineering or similar, with at least 5 years of relevant experience. The role offers hybrid working, allowing up to 3 days of remote work per week, and emphasizes a diverse and inclusive workplace culture.
• Production of FEED/EPC level Process Engineering deliverables: eg PFDs and P&IDs
• Production of datasheet sketches/GAs for equipment, including Pressure Vessel, Column, Shell & Tube Heat Exchangers etc.
• Develop in-house smart P&ID capability
• Help to prepare drawings and reproduce illustrations for reference manuals and technical publications to describe the operation and maintenance of mechanical systems
• Develop robust CAD models and prepare them for review and comment
• Maintain drawings and technical information in an organised manner

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should have a combination of the below knowledge, skills, and experience:
• The position would suit an engineering discipline professional, ideally process or similar with experience in supporting delivery of process industry-centric engineering projects.
• Diploma in chemical/mechanical engineering or I.T.I. Mech. draftsman.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working in Licensing / Consultancy / Design Engineering / EPC Organisation related to process plant
• Strong communication skills
• Proficiency in using drafting software like AutoCAD, AutoCAD P&ID
• Understanding and support in the development of CAD standards and procedures
• Good knowledge of other engineering discipline needs and interfaces
• Relevant industry experience in a drafting capacity, including knowledge of multidiscipline drawings & deliverables
• Demonstrated agility and proven track record of supporting multiple projects simultaneously
