Job Description
Environmental Resources Management is hiring a Principal Consultant for Liability Portfolio Management and Remediation Services in Singapore. The role involves leading environmental assessments and remediation projects, managing teams, and ensuring client satisfaction. Candidates should have at least 10 years of relevant experience, strong leadership skills, and a degree in a related field. The position focuses on project delivery in Singapore and Southeast Asia, emphasizing sustainability and health and safety.
We are currently recruiting a Principal Consultant with appropriate background and qualifications to join our Liability Portfolio Management and Remediation (LPMR) team in Singapore. It is expected that the selected candidate will be primarily supporting project delivery and opportunities pursuit for our site assessment, risk assessment and remediation services in Singapore, as well as Southeast Asia region. The candidate may also be required to support across our broader range of services within Asia Pacific region.
To support the successful delivery of ERM projects and objectives by:
• Leading, coordinating and managing planning, execution and reporting of Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessment (ESA), risk assessment and remediation projects through the whole project life cycle
• Developing, implementing and maintaining proactive health and safety, environmental and quality management program at project sites
• Developing and promoting good sustainability practices within projects
• Managing and supervising ERM project team and subcontractors
• Establishing strong working relationships with clients through project delivery and engagement
• Leading or supporting preparation or technical and commercial proposal, as well as business development efforts
• Meet business financial targets, overall project budget and schedule, client satisfaction/expectations, and internal and contract requirements
• Proactively support continuous development of LPMR services in Singapore and Southeast Asia;
• Demonstrate the drive and ambition to develop the business and grow across a wide range of service areas and regions
Qualifications:
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in ESA, risk assessment and remediation projects, preferably in Singapore and Southeast Asia
• Strong leadership and communications skills
• Demonstrated project management and contractor management experiences, with working knowledge on workplace health and safety, as well as waste and hazardous material management
• Preferably with experiences working in diversified energy (including oil and gas), chemical / pharmaceutical and/or government sectors
• Relevant tertiary qualification (Science or Engineering degree) on Civil / Environmental Engineering / Geotechnical Engineering (or equivalent)
