Green Team AC is hiring a full-time Preventative Maintenance HVAC Mechanic in Houston, TX. The role involves performing routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC and refrigeration equipment, using hand and power tools, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Candidates should have mechanical knowledge and experience in HVAC maintenance is preferred. The position offers a pay range of $15.00 - $22.00 per hour and includes paid time off.
Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and be proficient in the use of hand and power tools. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our customers equipment and facilities, contributing to overall efficiency and safety.

Responsibilities
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Restaurant HVAC and Refrigeration equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment, including ohmmeters, to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues.
• Conduct regular inspections of HVAC and refrigeration to identify potential problems before they escalate.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
• Collaborate with other team members to improve maintenance processes and enhance equipment reliability.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.

Qualifications
• Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in maintenance or repair work.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools effectively and safely.
• Experience with HVAC maintenance is preferred.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
