About the position

MR Control Systems International Inc. is seeking two experienced Power Utility and Renewable Energy SCADA System Integrators to join our team. The primary focus of this role is to assist with product verification and the development of automated testing systems. The ideal candidates will possess a strong background in SCADA systems and related technologies, with a minimum of eight years of relevant experience. This position is critical in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our SCADA systems, which are essential for the management and operation of power utilities and renewable energy sources. As a SCADA System Integrator, you will be responsible for configuring and integrating various components of the SCADA system, including protection relays and remote terminal units (RTUs). You will also work on SCADA port configurations and ensure that all systems are functioning optimally. A deep understanding of SCADA protocols such as DNP, IEC104, IEC61850, and ICCP is essential for this role. Additionally, familiarity with Sinolta will be considered an asset, as it enhances our capabilities in system integration and management. The successful candidates will collaborate with other engineers and technical staff to develop and implement automated testing systems that verify the functionality and performance of our products. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety in all aspects of work. Candidates must hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or possess an Automation Technologist diploma, ensuring a solid foundation in the principles of electrical systems and automation technology.

Responsibilities
• Assist with product verification and automated testing systems.

• Configure and integrate SCADA systems, including protection relays and RTUs.

• Perform SCADA port configuration of protection relays.

• Ensure optimal functionality of SCADA systems through rigorous testing and troubleshooting.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop automated testing protocols.

• Maintain in-depth knowledge of SCADA protocols such as DNP, IEC104, IEC61850, and ICCP.

Requirements
• Minimum of eight years of experience in SCADA system integration.

• Experience with at least two other HMI systems.

• IP networking experience.
