Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Power Systems Engineer with a strong background in electrical power systems design, analysis, and operation. The successful candidate will play a key role in our company's engineering and design of large Solar PV, Battery Energy Storage, and other high-profile systems above 20MW in size.
• Perform power system studies using software tools such as ETAP, SKM, CYMCAP, and WinIGS.
• Utilize knowledge of power system planning, design, and operation to analyze results and develop alternatives to identified problems.
• Prepare written reports explaining the purpose, methodology, data requirements, recommendations, and observations of power system studies.
• Develop standard techniques, procedures, and criteria for power system design and analysis.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:
• 5+ years' experience designing electrical power systems and performing tasks listed above.
• Familiarity with NEC, NESC, IEEE, and ANSI standards.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and power study software.
• BS in electrical engineering or related discipline.
• Ability to communicate among construction, technical, and non-technical personnel.
