About The Role

Working within a small team, the Power Station Operator Maintainer - Mechanical reports to the Area Manager.

This position executes planned and unplanned maintenance tasks on the equipment within Zenith Power Stations. The role ensures maintenance tasks are carried out to the highest quality standards to ensure equipment reliability.

Responsibilities Will Include
• Operate and maintain reciprocating engines and power generation equipment.
• Routine and breakdown maintenance.
• Repair power generation and auxiliary equipment.
• Power generation and engine management control system maintenance.
• Fault finding and troubleshooting.
• Analysis of power generation equipment, systems and associated auxiliary equipment.
• Prepare and maintain internal and external reports and recommend continuous improvement.
• Attend the power station after hours while on-site for faults/breakdowns.
• Raise and maintain work orders and purchase order requests in ERP.

About You

As the Power Station Operator Maintainer - Mechanical, you will have the following experience, knowledge, and skills to bring to the role.
• 3 - 5 years’ experience in an Electrical trade.
• WA Electrical Workers license.
• Heavy industry or power generation experience in maintenance is desirable, but candidates from other industries may be considered.
• Remote site or FIFO experience.
• Tradesperson-level ERP experience (Pronto, Ellipse, SAP) is desirable.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite desirable
• Current WA C class driver’s license.
• HV Switching Ticket, desirable.
