EQUANS is hiring a Plumber for a permanent, full-time role at Victoria Hospital in Fife, UK. The position involves maintaining plumbing and drainage systems, supporting projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and keeping accurate records. Equans is looking for a Plumber to join our team at the Victoria Hospital in Fife on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

What will you deliver?
• Deliver maintenance services for plumbing and drainage infrastructure, including TMV, Thermal Balancing Valves, Shower Head clean & disinfection, Pressure Reducing Valves, and Temperature Monitoring.
• Maintain Heating, Ventilation, Closed Loop, and Domestic Water systems.
• Maintain pipework, valves, fittings, and fixtures.
• Support Small Works and Variations projects as requested by management.
• Swiftly resolve issues and minimize downtime of assets with dynamic diagnostic assessments and temporary repairs.
• Follow specified job plans and manufacturers' specifications for all tasks.
• Maintain accurate electronic and hard copy records of all works undertaken.
• Ensure all works meet the requirements of relevant SHTMs, Scottish Water Byelaws, and trade standards.
• Assist and advise management on statutory compliance.
• Provide regular updates to helpdesk and management teams on the progress of work orders.
• Conduct Point of Work Risk Assessments prior to starting work and ensure safety.
• Promote a safe working environment, including the use of PPE, and adhere to EQUANS Health & Safety policies.
• Embrace and promote EQUANS Ethics, Diversity & Inclusion policies.
• Perform any other reasonable duties requested by EQUANS management within competency levels.

Who are we looking for?
• Completed a relevant apprenticeship and be qualification to minimum of NC (or equivalent) level.
• Have an adequate knowledge & experience of all the relevant Scottish Hospital Technical Memoranda (SHTM)
• Knowledge and suitable understanding of SHTM 04-01, ACoP L8, HSG274, D08 and Scottish Water Byelaws.

This role includes a DS Basic check therefore ability to pass is essential.
