Starting pay rate: $42.68/hr (non negotiable)
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
• To store, issue, and receive parts for station stock, tools, and equipment. As part of the receiving process, inspect materials for damage or discrepancies of product and part numbers, overages and shortages of materials, etc.
• Obtain or return items to proper storage locations and preparing related tickets to support scheduled plant work.
• As instructed, arranging for deliveries to job locations.
• To load and unload vehicles, and to carry, pack, unpack, crate, or uncrate material and equipment, using hand tools and such equipment as pallet jacks and fork trucks as required.
• To perform work in connection with the issuance and return of stores items, such as checking material tickets and making necessary entries, extensions, corrections, and other notations and records; and as instructed, to contact requesting departments regarding substitutions.
• To assist others engaged in storekeeping activities.
• To report low and out-of-stock items; to assist in taking inventories and cycle counts of items in stock; and to maintain storerooms, offices, and yards in a neat and orderly condition.
• As assigned, to perform night watch duty, involving making scheduled tours to storerooms or yards, observing conditions, and reporting unusual occurrences.
• As assigned, to dismantle, assemble, or move storage bins, counters, cabinets, and other storage equipment.
• Should be able to operate office machinery, including all incidental typing necessary to maintain proper stockroom functions; also, forklift truck, freight truck, and other similar lifting devices, not to include Mobile Cranes lifting a load in excess of ten (10) tons, Turbine Room Crane, or Crawler Crane.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• High school diploma or GED
• Must be computer literate with ability to input and retrieve receiving data of all products, parts and material.
• Physical ability to lift minimum of 20 lbs.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Must be able to work various shifts and occasional Saturdays and Sundays.
• Must obtain fork truck qualifications within 90 days.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
