Greenology Products, LLC is seeking a Plant Manager in Raleigh, NC, to oversee production operations and ensure efficiency in manufacturing. Responsibilities include managing budgets, ensuring product quality, recruiting staff, and utilizing lean manufacturing tools. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of manufacturing leadership experience. Greenology Products, LLC is a consumer product manufacturer specializing in formula development for USDA certified organic, natural, and eco-friendly products in the categories of cleaning, laundry, and healthy & beauty. Our Greenshield Organic® brand is the first line of USDA Certified Organic Detergents and Cleaners in the country. Our mission is to produce environmentally friendly product that are safe for people, pets, and the planet. We partner with retailers through private labeling while also growing our GO brand products to help drive our mission and promote sustainability in the consumer product industry.
Position Summary:
This position oversees our production operations and ensures that manufacturing remains a smooth and efficient process by monitoring employees and organizing workflows. This manager is an integral part of the manufacturing process, optimizing day-to-day activities while minimizing the costs. The goal is to ensure that production processes deliver products of maximum quality in a profitable manner.
Duties/ Responsibilities:
• Planning, organizing, directing, and running optimum day-to-day manufacturing and warehouse operations
• Creating and managing budgets
• Ensuring production output, product quality, and on-time shipping
• Collecting and analyzing data to find areas of waste and overtime
• Staying apprised of whether standards, metrics, and performance targets are being met to ensure effective return on assets
• Committed to plant safety procedures
• Providing a clear sense of direction and focus to team members
• Recruiting, managing, and developing plant staff
• Manufacture products according to standard operating procedures, formulas, and specifications
• Track and report key performance metrics and action items in support of company goals
• Utilize lean manufacturing tools to drive improvements in safety, quality, delivery, costs, and productivity throughout the department
• Lead a safe work environment and production protocols
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Strong attention to detail with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Able and willing to be certified in CPR/First Aid.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong teams
• Proficiency in the use of office software: spreadsheets, databases, Word, and presentations.
Credentials/ Experience:
• Bachelor's degree.
• 5-7 years of manufacturing leadership in related field required.
• Mechanical or Industrial Engineering background preferred.
• Lean Manufacturing training preferred.
Physical Demands:
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time on shifts that could range from 8-10 hours.
• Ability to regularly sit, stand, bend, reach and move about the facility.
• Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Solid organizational skills and attention to detail.
• May work in areas where noise level is such that hearing protection is required.
• May be exposed to varying amounts of dust and dirt.
• Work surfaces may include concrete.
• Ability to work with others in a group, cooperate with others, help when needed, and foster a team climate within the group.

• Must wear safety shoes, PPE, and comply with all GMP requirements
Job Type: Full-time
