Plant Engineer

Mitsubishi Chemical Carbon Fiber and Composites is hiring a Plant Engineer in Irvine, CA. The role involves collaborating with maintenance and production teams to enhance safety and ensure efficient equipment operation. Responsibilities include planning, designing, and installing new equipment as well as revising existing systems. The position requires hands-on experience with factory automation, specifically Allen Bradley PLC. This is a full-time position.
A Plant Engineer is responsible for working with maintenance, technical and production management to improve safety and to ensure equipment is functioning properly and efficiently. This includes planning, designing and installing new equipment and/or revising existing equipment and systems for the purpose of improving safety, efficiency, reliability, capacity, and cost effectiveness. The Plant Engineer also possesses working knowledge and hand on experience with factory automation using Allen Bradely PLC.
