About the Job

Alaimo Group seeks an individual with a Professional Planner with a New Jersey PP License, AICP is also desirable but not required. This person should have approximately 5 years of experience in municipal, county and/or regional planning.

Should have good written and verbal communication skills and ability to work with architects, engineers, and clients.

This is a full time, hourly position, with strong benefits package.

Duties
- Conduct research and data collection to support planning projects
- Utilize GIS software for mapping and spatial analysis
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement planning strategies
- Assist in drafting contracts and reviewing legal documents related to environmental law
- Use Rhinoceros 3D and Sketchup for creating visual representations of proposed plans

Skills
- Proficiency in project management techniques
- Experience with GIS software for spatial analysis
- Data analysis skills to interpret and present findings effectively
- Knowledge of urban planning principles and practices
- Familiarity with Rhinoceros 3D for 3D modeling
- Strong research capabilities for gathering relevant information
- Understanding of environmental law regulations
- Ability to collect, organize, and analyze data effectively
