Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Floating Personal Banker. In this role, you will perform a variety of duties that support the customer sales and service functions of our branch. Fidelity Bank is a relationship-driven community bank seeking Personal Bankers located in the Scranton area and Lackawanna County. You will be responsible for assisting customers with their transactions, coordinating work within the branch, and ensuring efficient communication across departments. As a Floating Personal Banker, you will aid in this support further by floating to other branches within Lackawanna County.

Key Responsibilities
• Customer Sales and Service Support:
• Provide an engaging experience for all customers (internal and external) through a committed execution of the Fidelity Model Experience and by embodying the organization’s core values.
• Engage with customers to identify their financial needs and make appropriate product recommendations.
• Assist customers in achieving their financial goals through consultative conversations.
• Foster relationships with existing customers to identify cross-selling opportunities and support customer retention and growth.
• Provide direct service on deposit products and services, including completing necessary documentation and performing point-of-sale processing.
• Solicit new business from prospective customers and nurture ongoing relationships with current customers to ensure continued growth.

Qualifications:
• Branch and Transactional Support:
• Perform various branch transactions including accepting deposits, cashing checks, processing payments, and other general banking activities in compliance with policy.
• Maintain daily settlement, prepare branch reports, balance cash drawers, and ensure compliance with branch operations and policies.
• Coordinate with other branch staff to ensure smooth operations and a welcoming branch environment.
• Maintain accurate customer records in CRM systems for reporting purposes.
• Collaboration and Compliance:
• Work closely with branch personnel and service partners to ensure efficient communication and task completion.
• Adhere to all internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to promote a compliant, safe, and respectful work environment.
• Participate in training sessions and career development opportunities to enhance knowledge and professional growth.
• Customer Assistance and Reporting:
• Address specific customer inquiries or service-related issues, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
• Report relevant information to your supervisor as needed and assist with compiling data for monthly and year-to-date performance reports
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage with customers and make recommendations based on their needs.
• Ability to balance multiple tasks and manage time effectively.
• Knowledge of financial products, services, and regulations (training provided).
• Prior experience in customer service or a sales environment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering superior service.

Qualifications

Education/Training: A high school diploma or equivalent experience

Skill(s): Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; moderate typing skills; proficient PC skills; proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills; proficient customer service skills; moderate needs based selling skills; moderate knowledge of bank deposit and loan products and services, along with the operating policies and procedures that impact these products; ability to lift items weighing 50 lbs. or less; visual and auditory skills; valid driver’s license is required for floating Universal Banker position.

Experience: A minimum of one (1) year experience in related Customer Service
