Job Description

Climate Engineering Companies seeks a motivated Parts Manager in Cheshire, CT, responsible for inventory management, purchasing, and increasing parts revenue. Key duties include marketing, client relationship management, staff supervision, and coordinating with departments. Candidates should possess leadership, sales skills, and industry knowledge. Climate Engineering Companies is a HEAVY-DUTY truck, trailer and Transport Refrigeration Unit repair company with multiple locations. We are looking for A HIGHLY motivated Parts Manager that will be responsible for inventory, purchasing, and growing our parts revenue, in our newly constructed nineteen bay shop located in Cheshire, CT.

We are looking for an individual who can work independently to perform the following duties:
• Marketing to local companies and government agencies to increase our parts revenue
• Identifying emerging markets to find new sales opportunities
• Tracking and analyzing sales opportunities
• Developing and maintaining relationships with key clients
• Inventory management: Maintain inventory levels, organize parts, and ensure parts are accurate, high-quality, and free of damage
• Forecasting parts needs and ordering parts to maintain optimal inventory levels
• Purchasing: Work with suppliers to source parts, negotiate prices, and place orders
• Pricing parts to maintain profitability
• Customer service: Assist customers and use sales skills to boost parts sales
• Staff management: Hire, train, and supervise parts department employees
• Order process: Oversee the order process for replacement parts, track orders, and confirm shipments
• Coordination: Coordinate with other departments to meet their parts needs
• Receiving parts, including placing them into inventory and properly labeling them

Requirements:
• Leadership, sales and customer service skills
• Knowledge of the industry including marketing plans
• Strategic thinking and negotiation skills
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Mathematical skills to help manage the inventory, pricing and estimates
• Problem-solving skills to deal with parts inventory issues
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes loud environment

Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen and have a clear driving record.
