Reporting To: Country Managing Partner

Role Overview:

This role is focused on driving the firm’s sustainability consulting services in the Banking and Finance sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sales background, significant consulting experience, and an understanding of sustainability practices. The partner will lead client engagements, drive business development, and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver sustainable solutions tailored to financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Leadership:
• Lead business development efforts targeting the Banking and Finance sector.
• Build strong relationships with senior-level stakeholders in banks, financial institutions, and related entities.
• Develop and execute strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share growth.
• Identify opportunities for consulting projects, focusing on sustainability-driven transformation.

Consulting Expertise:
• Lead consulting engagements from inception to delivery, ensuring high client satisfaction and alignment with business goals.
• Offer advisory services in areas such as sustainable finance, risk management, ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) compliance, and climate risk.
• Customize sustainability solutions for financial sector clients, integrating them with operational and strategic business objectives.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior consultants and foster a collaborative, innovative culture.

Sustainability Leadership:
• Stay ahead of trends in sustainability, particularly related to financial markets and regulations.
• Champion sustainability initiatives and integrate them into client offerings, ensuring alignment with global standards like the UN SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals).
• Develop internal and external thought leadership on sustainable finance and climate-related risks.
• Engage in public forums, conferences, and events to promote the firm’s sustainability agenda.

Qualifications:
• 15+ years of experience in Banking and Finance, with at least 7 years in a sales leadership or consulting role.
• Proven track record of building and managing high-value client relationships.
• Strong knowledge of sustainability principles, particularly in relation to finance (ESG, sustainable finance, green bonds, etc.).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Master’s degree in business, Finance, or a related field. An advanced qualification in Sustainability is a plus.
